NASC Renew Tractor Girls Sponsorship

The Ipswich Town Football Club-North American Supporters Club Board are excited to announce that they have, for the third year in a row, extended their sponsorship of ITFC Women’s star defender, Leah Mitchell. The money brought in through generous member donations and NASC merchandise sales have allowed the North American Supporters Club to continue what has been very popular program for several years and an unmatched way in which the group can give back to the club.

Leah and the Tractor Girls embark on their first season in the Women’s Super League 2 - the second tier of the women’s football pyramid - this year after winning the FA Women’s National League South last year in impressive fashion.

Mitchell herself had a particularly impressive season and was awarded “Women’s Players’ Player of the Year, sponsored by MSC” after taking home the “Young Player of the Year” award the previous season. Leah continues her upward trajectory and has become an integral part of the defense as well as being an extremely valuable player getting foward for Manager Joe Sheehan’s squad. She continues to be a leader both on and off the pitch.

Our sponsorship ensures the NASC logo appears in both the women’s and men’s match day programmes, logos and hyperlinks on the club website, and our logo on the big screen at home games. We also have an opportunity for a player presentation at a future ITFC Women’s sanctioned Playford Road event at which we will be given a framed shirt signed by Leah. We will do our level best to have representation at this. Any ticket availability and other special events will be shared through our social channels.
